No matter how many times I watch this, the asteroid will never not be utterly terrifying. They truly succeeded in making this thing look like an eldritch abomination from some kind of nether dimension hellbent on annihilating everything in its path.

The way the ship starts falling apart, it reminds of like watching the Power Rangers Megazords or Command center getting destroyed

I'm surprised spacesuits don't come equipped with a "merciful alternative" feature in the event of being cast out into the void with no hope of rescue.

If the asteroid is size of Texas finding a landing spot should be easier than what they experienced.
